Frontwave Arena is seeking a Receptionist for our 7,500-capacity indoor entertainment and sports arena. Our professional and organized Receptionist is responsible for being the first point of contact for our guests and clients. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
Work Location & Hours
Oceanside, California
Full-time, hourly position.
Requires working in the Frontwave Arena during regular business hours, as well as during events and special functions.
Pay Scale
$20-$22 hourly
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests, athletes, and visitors to Frontwave Arena with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff or departments efficiently.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely delivery and organization.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects the standards of Frontwave Arena.
Assist in scheduling appointments, coordinating events, and managing calendars for arena staff as needed.
Provide information about Frontwave Arena's events, services, and facilities to visitors and callers.
Respond to inquiries courteously and assist guests with their needs to enhance their experience at the arena.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the objectives and operations of Frontwave Arena.
Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the Director of Event Services.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse visitors.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with office management software.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude in a busy environment.
