Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Registered Hospice Nurse with 2-3 years of experience to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care and support to our patients and their families, ensuring they receive the comfort and dignity they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in their homes.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
Educate patients and families about hospice care, disease processes, and available resources.
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during this critical time.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Travel to patients' homes as needed within [specific area or radius].
Qualifications
Current RN license in Georgia.
2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathetic and caring approach to patient care.
Willingness to travel for home visits.
