Position Overview: The Tax Senior is responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries. The Tax Senior will work closely with the client to understand their individual and business tax needs and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review corporate, individual, estate and trust tax returns
Research and analyze tax regulations to advise clients on tax compliance and strategies
Develop strategies for clients to minimize their tax liabilities
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
Communicate with clients and respond to their inquiries
Keep up with changing tax laws and regulations
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
At least 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
CPA designation preferred
Strong working knowledge of CCH Axcess software and other tax software
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
