Superintendent (Commercial TI Projects) - Position Overview This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities related to the successful completion of tenant improvement (TI) projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for providing leadership to all field personnel and subcontractors, as well as maintaining a safe work environment. The Superintendent will also be responsible for the coordination of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and labor, and for the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Architect, Owner and Project Manager to coordinate project details and logistics
Organize and monitor subcontractor work schedule
Supervise and oversee daily construction activities
Manage project to stay on time and within budget
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Manage and resolve conflicts with subcontractors
Provide quality control oversight for each TI phase
Manage site inventory and materials
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Commercial Construction or Tenant Improvements
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Extensive knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Ability to read drawings and blueprints
Experience with estimating, scheduling, and budgeting
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects
