Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC design to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems that meet client specifications and building codes, while ensuring efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop HVAC systems, including calculations, equipment sizing, and ductwork design.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Develop technical drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
Lead project teams and manage timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with state building codes, energy codes, and NFPA codes.
Conduct QA/QC checks on designs, installations, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Provide technical writing for proposals and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience in project management and team leadership.
Strong knowledge of systems design principles and practices.
Familiarity with state building codes, energy codes, and NFPA codes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
