Superintendent Position Overview The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of commercial projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise onsite construction activities and personnel.
Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements.
Manage the project schedule and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
Monitor project budget and expenses, and report any discrepancies or issues to the project manager.
Maintain effective communication with project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Identify and propose solutions to any construction-related issues that may arise during the project.
Ensure quality control and standards are met throughout the project.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and safety requirements.
Experience managing and supervising construction personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Nice to have: experience in K-12 and/or multifamily construction, knowledge of education construction standards and regulations.
