Commercial Superintendent Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee Commercial, Education, Medical and Public construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient completion of construction projects while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction operations of public works projects
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor and maintain project schedules, budgets, and materials inventory
Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Maintain a safe and organized construction site
Motivate and lead site personnel to achieve project goals
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent overseeing public works construction projects
Extensive knowledge of commercial construction and project management
Experience managing a team of construction workers and subcontractors
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (nice to have)
Experience in municipal construction, school construction, or general construction (nice to have)
