Tax Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax planning and consulting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including recommendations on tax-saving strategies and potential liabilities
Work with clients to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, and advise on tax-related business decisions
Manage and supervise staff, including providing training and development opportunities
Prepare and review financial statements, and assist with business valuation and cost segregation studies
Assist with client management and business development efforts, including identifying potential opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications
CPA credential required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting and tax compliance
Extensive knowledge of C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership Tax, Trust Estate Tax, and Not For Profit tax regulations
Experience with High Net Worth Individual, Real Estate, Pass Through, Closely Held Businesses, and Non-profit tax issues
Strong understanding of tax accounting and compliance auditing
Proven ability to manage client relationships and staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Quickbooks and financial statement preparation
Ability to sign tax returns a plus
Demonstrated experience with tax planning and consulting, including flow through entities and compliance
Small Business Consulting experience preferred
