Award winning analytics conglomerate that utilizes AI + ML technologies to streamline federal budgets and services, is hiring a Lead AI/ML Engineer in Arlington, Virginia(full remote option). This person will run a ML team of 4, while also coordinating with stakeholders and C-Suite execs to leverage new business opportunities and be responsible for oversight of predictive analytics, MLOps, and identifying/implementing AI methods as well as spearhead research projects.
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience
- Proficient with Python and ML frameworks
- Understanding of ML and NLP techniques/libraries as well as a range of data science/engineering concepts
- Expereince building ML models for predictive modeling and analytics(such as ridge regression, random forest, etc.)
- Experience with data manipulation technologies such as Pandas
- Background with cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, and.or GCP)
Great to have:
- Masters or PHD in related field
- Experience with crafting and developing Language Learning Models
- Experience with cloud based big data analytics tools
- Experience with experimental design and deep learning
- Established research + peer reviewed publications would be a big plus
