Provide suppliers with timely nonconformance data for rejected products.
Support suppliers in problem-solving and root cause analysis to efficiently and effectively eliminate recurrences of non-conformances.
Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality-impacting issues.
Participate in daily Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to review non-conformances and identify appropriate dispositions.
Assist the Quality Assurance department with supplier correction of documentation errors and support permanent resolution of recurring issues.
Handle and monitor Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
Ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented and effective in addressing supplier quality deficiencies.
Conduct periodic supplier audits and performance assessments.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to address supplier-related issues regarding Design, Manufacturability, or Quality Requirements.
Drive continual improvement initiatives and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
Create monthly reports and handle credit and debit memos.

For This Role, You Will Need:
A Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
A minimum of five (5) years of Manufacturing Engineering or Supplier Quality Engineering experience, preferably in an Engineered-to-Order facility.
Experience with materials, manufacturing technologies, and manufacturing processes such as forging, casting, and machining.
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Ability to facilitate work with multi-functional groups to get results.
Up to 30% travel required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Working knowledge of ASME Section III Nuclear and Navy Mil-Spec.
