Work Hours: 6 AM to 6 PM MST (8 hours between this)
Support the construction project
Will be working with team lead, field technicians or internal team members.
May have to communicate with external vendors as well.
Experience with display building in SCADA systems - Must Have
Experience with SCADA system - GE Products (XA21) - preferred, or other SCADA system will work
3-7 years of experience in SCADA system.
Auto CAD experience
Understanding of compliance such as NERC CIP
ICCP (Inter-control Center Communications Protocol)
Utility background is needed
Effective and clear communication. Good Team player
PMP or other certification is nice to have
Project Overview & Deliverables:
The resource is needed to support construction projects as part of the database and display group.
Responsibilities include building new Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) from scratch in the database, creating points, and working with field technicians on the project requirements.
Tasks involve replacing old RTUs with new ones, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and using internal systems to track project progress.
The resource will also attend weekly meetings, collaborate with field engineers for sign-off on completed tasks, and may continue supporting live implementation.
Typical Day-to-Day Tasks:
Collaborating with the team lead to execute tasks related to upcoming construction projects, such as building new RTUs or setting up transformers and breakers.
Working with field technicians and ensuring projects meet internal requirements.
Attending weekly team meetings to receive assignments and report progress.
Managing and tracking projects in internal systems and ensuring all tasks are aligned with the construction schedule.
