Lead leasing efforts and provide guidance to associates
Identify opportunities for improved property performance
Identify new tenant relationships
Develop merchandise plans and leasing strategies for each property
Conduct on-site tours and meet with prospective tenants
Negotiate lease terms and ensure seamless execution
Manage lease amendments and renewals
Communicate tactfully, skillfully, and persuasively with third-party brokers, ownership entities, prospective and existing tenants, and local, regional, and corporate employees of all levels
Work cross functionally with the in-house Asset Management, Legal, Property Management, Lease Administration, and Acquisition teams
Keep current on evolving retail trends and maintain knowledge of local competition
Attend local, regional, and national deal making functions
Coordinate tenant interviews and competition studies for new acquisitions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
5+ years of retail leasing experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong time management and negotiating skills
Must have relationships with national retailers
Able to provide a detailed deal-sheet
Knowledge of merchandising, deal structures and lease terminology
