This Franchise General Manager is responsible for leading multiple stores (~12 locations across
San Diego County) to achieve store level return count and profitability goals. The General Manager develops and directs office leadership teams to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service and operate with a "think like an owner" mindset. This role is responsible for overseeing the local P&L, employee recruiting and retention, employee training and development (including tax school), staff scheduling, store set-up/tear-down, bi-weekly payroll, bi-weekly franchisor royalty accounting, discount approvals, holds/return management funnel, chargebacks/disputes, store operations (wi-fi, printers/scanners, phones, cash collection) and marketing/client outreach initiatives. Although the tax season is typically January through April, this role seeks someone who can work on this business year-round.

Required Skills:
A Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years' experience in retail management preferred.
A passion for mentoring and developing talent to help lead an organization.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and engage a team, create a culture of exceptional client service and operational excellence.
Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral), strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of retail business profitability, and prior multi-unit P&L responsibility (preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
