HEICO is seeking a Process Compliance and Improvement Specialist for an immediate full time direct hire opportunity in Hollywood, FL.

OVERVIEW

Process Compliance & Improvement Specialist is responsible for maintenance of best practices for quality processes and procedures. This role works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that regulatory and Quality Management System (QMS) compliance is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for documentation and maintenance of QMS procedures.
  • Conducts internal audits to determine compliance with QMS, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Participates with stakeholders to develop corrective or preventive actions and implementation.
  • Works collaboratively within and across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND:
  • EDUCATION: Associates degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Management Systems role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in root cause corrective actions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting internal audits.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the application of AS9100.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Must have a strong quality background and must be familiar with Quality Management Systems, such as AS9100/ISO9001.
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A high attention to detail is required.
  • Proven ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Proven ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Strong understanding of business function and cross group dependencies/relationships.
  • Must thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to easily create partnerships with internal customers.
  • Self-starter, proactive, adaptable, and engaging approach.
  • Exercise judgement in selecting innovative, practical methods to achieve problem resolution while maintaining regulatory and QMS compliance.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
  • MS Office proficiency required
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
