MoodysNWC is seeking a proactive and experienced Product Owner specializing in managing release processes and optimizing release velocity through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality software releases. Your expertise in agile methodologies and release management will be crucial in driving the success of our product delivery pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Release Management: Own and manage the end-to-end release process, coordinating release schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of software updates.
CI/CD Optimization: Implement and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline the release cycle and improve release velocity.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize features and resolve issues affecting release timelines.
Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain the release roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of releases by defining and monitoring release metrics, conducting post-release reviews, and implementing improvements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies that could impact release timelines and work proactively to mitigate them.
Documentation: Maintain release documentation, including release notes, version control, and deployment procedures.
Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with stakeholders to gather insights and incorporate feedback into future releases.
Agile Leadership: Act as a leader within the agile team, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+years as a Product Owner environment, with a focus on release management and CI/CD.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Leadership Ability: Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving common goals and objectives.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from 100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to 140,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
