Action Group Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a manufacturing facility in Tulsa.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on EPC projects in the renewable energy sector.
Proficient in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., ASME, ISO).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and travel as required.

Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Engineer will design, install, and commission mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the project's success through diligent project execution.
Develop detailed mechanical engineering designs, including specifications, calculations, and drawings for mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and mechanical equipment.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations of mechanical systems.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, construction, and other engineering disciplines, to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Engineering Lead.
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and evaluation of bids for mechanical equipment and materials.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that purchased items meet project requirements and are delivered on time.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, including reviewing and approving installation procedures, inspecting installations, and troubleshooting issues.
Ensure that mechanical systems are installed according to design specifications and quality standards.
Develop and oversee testing and commissioning plans for mechanical systems.
Conduct and document tests to verify system performance and compliance with project specifications.
Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Participate in audits and inspections as required.
Prepare detailed technical reports, manuals, and documentation for mechanical systems.
Maintain accurate records of engineering designs, calculations, and project correspondence.
