One of our large Energy Services clients is seeking to bring on an Environmental Compliance Project Coordinator to join their growing team in Sterling, VA and support a project at the Dulles Airport. The Dulles project is a combined solar and battery storage project located on the Dulles International Airport property. The Environmental Coordinator will provide fulltime onsite environmental compliance support at the project site. ECC will ensure project compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits, including erosion and sediment control, chemical and waste management, and oil regulations. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of work site to comply with regulatory and company standards and procedures. Serves as liaison with the EPC contractor/sub-contractors and the Dominion Energy Project team. Conduct inspections or assessments and provide advice or recommendations regarding compliance issues to project management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Environmental Compliance for construction projects
Understanding of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management, as it relates to the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
Preferred Certifications:
-Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector
-Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Stormwater Management Inspector
Pay Range: $45.00-$70.00/hr (dependent on years of experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Hiring Method: Long-term contract that is expected to go through 2026 with an opportunity for permanent hire
