We are working with a relatively new game studio in California to find a Lead Graphics Engineer with a passion for gaming and empowering content creators to deliver cutting-edge experiences. The team are working on a very ambitious AAA title and looking for someone with passion for doing things at the highest standard to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Foster a culture of rapid iteration and effective problem-solving.
Oversee the VFX rendering pipeline and tools, collaborating with the VFX team to push creative limits.
Enhance current systems and develop new rendering techniques to achieve high-quality visuals.
Work with stakeholders to identify technical challenges and create solutions.
Guide and mentor the engineering team, helping resolve technical issues.
Essential Skills:
5+ years of game development experience, with bonus points for Unreal Engine expertise.
Solid understanding of graphics technology and modern GPU architectures (PC, PS, Xbox).
Proficiency in DX12, Vulkan, and shader programming languages like HLSL or GLSL.
Strong skills in debugging, optimizing performance, and handling multi-threaded environments.
Clear communication and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
