Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the aerospace manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and overseeing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation in alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Lead the execution of projects, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations. Utilize project management tools to track milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other departments to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact. Proactively address challenges and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met. Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, gather feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of project processes, changes, and results. Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or engineering within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMI, Six Sigma).
  • Strong technical understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc.).
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
