Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shopping center in Township, Ohio. The ideal candidate will ensure the facility is safe, efficient, and well-maintained, providing a positive environment for shoppers and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of the shopping center's facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement emergency response procedures.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with service providers, ensuring quality work and timely completion of projects.
  • Tenant Support: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding facility issues. Address concerns promptly and ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Facility Upgrades: Identify opportunities for facility enhancements and oversee renovation projects to improve the shopping center's appeal and functionality.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train facilities staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a retail or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
