Flowtec is actively seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with piping design experience who will be responsible for developing and implementing designs for products, systems, and machinery.
REQUIREMENTS:
Collaborate with Outside Sales to review and assess project specifications.
Ensure alignment with Outside Sales on the technical requirements outlined in the specifications.
Use SolidWorks to create 3D models, assemblies, and Y14.5-compliant manufacturing drawings.
Lead the development and preparation of engineering data for drawings and technical specifications.
Provide guidance in the design, construction, and testing phases of designs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
Experienced with products related piping systems
Skilled in producing layout drawings from basic sketches.
Water/wastewater industry experience.
