As the Value-Added Service (VAS) Manager for Warehouse Operations; this role is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the value-added service and pick and pack teams within our warehouse facilities in California. Close collaboration with internal teams, retail accounts and vendors to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the successful delivery of services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage order processing, including price ticket creation by customer requirements
Invoicing
Manage Quality Control & SKU audits projects
Maintain & process all Direct to Consumer (e-commerce) orders daily
Manage returned items
Supervise the wholesale VAS and pick and pack departments to ensure orders are processed accurately.
Minimize chargebacks by following routing guidelines provided by customer accounts.
Track and publish productivity for VAS & Pick and pack
Ensure VAS & pick and pack orders are successfully processed to meet ship dates
Create and maintain a deadline driven, time sensitive, and productivity based working environment for wholesale fulfillment and shipping departments
Assist in directing the workflow on the VAS lines to direct employees in placing the customization of product label and/or packaging based on the compliance with vendor's guidelines for floor ready merchandise
Stay current and up to date with all route guides for all Wholesale customers and Major Accounts
Anticipate problems which could affect the ability to meet deadlines and service levels, and to recommend solutions.
Monitor work processes and analyze daily productivity data for modifications to improve efficiency and accuracy for the purpose of improving costs; implement change as directed or needed.
Responsible to meet daily productivity goals. Including replenishment and stocking activities.
Assist in training and supervising temporary associates.
Partner with Human Resources and warehouse management team to handle employee relations issues.
Responsible for the compliance of all appropriate warehouse policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
4 - 7 years' experience in warehouse operations management, with a focus on value-added services.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control processes, and material handling equipment.
Knowledge of VICs requirements for apparel retailers
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving performance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Bilingual (Spanish) both written and verbal strongly preferred
CALIFORNIA PAY RATE: $52,000-$60,000
