We're seeking a Systems Operations Engineer for an growth-stage company that's redefining security through multi-sensor fusion technology. This mission is to accelerate the speed of security operations for businesses, with a long-term goal of integrating cybersecurity and physical security into a unified platform. In this role, you'll design and deliver modern cloud infrastructure, edge compute environments, delivery automation, identity and access management, and system monitoring. You'll also empower engineering teams to work efficiently while ensuring customer environments stay robust and high-performing.
Role & Responsibilities:
Implement key platform features for customers on AWS, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Terragrunt).
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines while adopting modern service delivery practices.
Enhance the resiliency, scalability, and maintainability of production, testing, and development environments.
Support and empower engineering teams to maximize productivity and efficiency, ensuring customer environments are consistently available, reliable, and optimized for performance.
Architect and deliver cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, edge computing environments, delivery automation, identity and access management, and system continuity with robust monitoring.
Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle, including planning, development, deployment, testing, maintenance, and monitoring.
Participate in an on-call rotation as part of operational responsibilities.
Skills / Experience Required:
2+ years of experience in software development with Kotlin, Java, Python, or Rust.
2+ years of hands-on experience in managing production environments, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting issues.
Proficiency in using the Linux command line and writing bash scripts.
Solid experience with AWS cloud services such as Kinesis, Serverless, RDS, and EKS.
Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, and IoT Edge technologies.
Experience working with relational databases, SQL, and monitoring tools.
Hybrid Work environment - ability to work in the office/onsite 3 days per week
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
