Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving material flow, inventory control, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with a dynamic team to create innovative solutions and make a real impact from day one.
Tool and Fixture design and coordination of manufacturing
Cost-control projects such as consumable CNC tooling, raw materials usage in product manufacture, and variable costs including labor and overhead costs
Data-Driven Solutions: Utilize your analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and drive measurable results.
Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and drive waste reductions utilizing Lean principles (Autonomation, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time vs TAKT Time, Kaizen, 5S, Line/Cell Design, Material Flow, Visual Management, TPM, Root Cause Problem Solving, etc.).
Support the management of New Product Integration with respect to the manufacturability, process control, equipment capability, supporting personnel requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5 plus years' experience in manufacturing environments in areas such as: Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, or Process Improvement.
Hands-on experience in CNC metals manufacturing
Ability to coach, teach, and lead leaders to develop continuous improvement strategies, influence decision making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant operations and functions.
Strong leadership, organizational, project management and inter-personal skills.
