Candidates must report to our client's office in Metro Little Rock, AR, this is a non-negotiable. Relocation package is an option for suitable candidates. Must have valid PE.
Position Summary:
The Professional Engineer (PE) will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of engineering designs. This individual will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while working closely with design engineers to stamp and quality-check project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Stamping and Quality Control: Review and stamp engineering designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Conduct thorough quality control checks to identify and address any errors or omissions.
Provide expert technical input and recommendations to improve design quality and efficiency.
Mentorship and Training: Guide and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
Share knowledge and experience to enhance their technical skills and understanding of engineering principles.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Technical Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies, and industry best practices.
Stay current with the latest advancements in engineering technology and regulations.
Provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure project deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive engineering documentation.
Generate reports and presentations as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in the Southeastern United States.
Minimum 6+ years of experience in engineering design and project management.
