Responsible for providing oversight and direct day-to-day management for assigned projects. Interface with clients regarding project status. Ensure project task orders are completed in accordance with contract specification and requirements. Manage profit and loss for assigned projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
BS degree in a science or engineering discipline, can be substituted with equivalent experience. Minimum of five (10) years' experience managing construction and D&D projects for government clients, specifically the Department of Defense (DoD) and the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE).
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven history and demonstrated knowledge effectively managing projects averaging $20M dollars.
Solid understanding and experience developing budgets, proposals and developing technical work documents.
Understanding of quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) processes and procedures.
Strong skills in project finance & subcontractor management
Previous history managing in the design build environment
Strong familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulatory guidelines.
Federal and state regulator interface including USACE.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience using Primavera 6 (preferred).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid state driver's license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check which includes 7-year employment verification, Department of Motor Vehicles record search, criminal record search, and verification of education, certifications, and licenses as applicable to the position.
Must occasionally be available for extra (OT) hours.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Professional Project Manager (PMP) is preferred
Primavera 3 or 6 fundamental and advanced is preferred
HAZWOPER 40-hour and 8-hours Supervisor
OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Create, maintain, and generate Excel spreadsheet reports as required and provide to Program Manager as well as customers.
Conduct project/safety meetings as required.
Review and approve daily, weekly and monthly project status reports; submit to Director of Operations as required.
Approve procurement of equipment, parts, and supplies as needed.
Monitor all project tasks and subcontractor compliance to contractual requirements to meet or exceed project schedule/milestones.
Use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts associated with information or data to draw conclusions.
Assist with proposal efforts, Requests for Adjustments, Change Order Requests, etc. as needed.
