Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer who is dedicated to driving exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining quality systems and initiatives that ensure the software products meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Be part of establishing and enforcing quality system processes that support the successful development and production of our software products.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases informed by customer feedback and requirements, prioritizing high-impact areas for testing.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing and product development teams, providing quality assurance expertise to ensure adherence to New Product Introduction (NPI) procedures and prompt resolution of defects.
Analyze production defects, customer complaints, and field returns to identify trends and prioritize areas for improvement.
Contribute to the development of automated test scripts, enhancing our efficiency and effectiveness in quality assurance.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the Quality Management System (QMS) to assess and communicate quality performance.
Initiate corrective and preventive actions, driving continuous improvement projects to enhance quality outcomes.
Performance Metrics:
Success in this role will be measured by the reduction in defect rates, improvement in customer satisfaction scores, and the effectiveness of implemented quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a product development and production environment with a focus on software quality.
Deep understanding of quality processes and the ability to implement and enforce standards effectively.
Hands-on experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies.
Familiarity with the stages of Quality Assurance for Software.
Proficiency in SQL for defect data analysis and reporting.
Advanced Excel skills for statistical analysis, including data extraction from databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving to root cause quickly.
Preferred - Highly Desirable Skills and Background
Familiarity with Power BI for data analysis and reporting
Experience with ISO9000 Quality Management Principles or work in an ISO9001 certified organization
Previous supervisory experience
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field, engineering, or mathematics is required.
