Position: Superintendent Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing the project timeline, budget, and resources, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
Provide regular updates and progress reports on project status
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during construction
Ensure project stays on schedule and within budget
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry
Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and processes
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Familiarity with geotechnical considerations and requirements
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
