Description:
We have an opportunity for an energetic, self motivated Refrigeration Technician to be part of
our manufacturing team. You will help build refrigeration systems that meet customer
requirements, project lead times, and are within target budgets designated by the Refrigeration
Engineer and the team. In this role, you will have the ability to use your skills, experiment with
new technologies, and work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements:
Brazing, pipe bending, and building copper refrigerate systems.
Working within our team, identify and implement projects for design optimization which
include quality improvements through minor upgrades, design for assembly, cost
reduction, and design for sustainability.
Meet regulatory requirements and use environmental-friendly product designs. This
includes but is not limited to refrigeration loops, heat exchangers, fluid-flow and best
design practices.
Help develop proper specifications for system level performance, subsystem
performance and component performance.
Education and Experience:
1+ years experience in building, brazing, and evaluation of refrigeration systems and
components.
Strong knowledge of accurate pipe bending using standard bending equipment.
Ability to read and interpret refrigerant prints and piping diagrams.
Ability to interpret pipe and bend dimensions from a drawing, and accurately execute
with piping tools.
Experience with heat transfer systems.
Results-oriented with strong personal drive.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with few errors.
Self-motivated, accountable, and having a sense of ownership; take pride in what you
build.
Google apps experience a plus.
