This position requires in-person relationships and development of new business in counties surrounding Canton, MS.
You'll be responsible for establishing new business and implementing programs that will grow Veritas Federal Credit Union's membership, employer relationships, and member satisfaction, and further develop our positive reputation and relationships in the community.
This is a mostly autonomous position where you hold the responsibility of structuring your day to achieve the highest levels of success, and rewards, through your lead generation processes, prospecting activity, and closing ability.
?In this role you will also:
Create and nurture new business opportunities by establishing new Select Employee Groups and Business Partner relationships; create a network of SEG ambassadors; drive referral growth by conducting in-person visits and regular contact to cement relationships.
Establish community presence and promote the credit union by attending various meetings (City Councils, Friends of Libraries boards, local committees, trade associations, etc.) to develop new business prospects and organizational associations.
Organize and conduct financial education presentations, lunch and learns, etc. Coordinate credit union events, from community events and fundraisers to employee functions. Coordinate volunteer efforts, education, and other opportunities for community outreach.
Produce net-positive monthly SEG and membership increases.
Live out Veritas FCU values daily, both with coworkers and in the community.
?You'll need Strong PC and Microsoft Office Skills, and the ability to travel locally up to 90% of the time.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications strongly preferred. Two to five years of progressive experience with a proof of meeting and exceeding sales goals is a must.
