Our client is looking for an experienced engineer or scientist with industry experience using atomic layer deposition (ALD). This candidate will scale-up and optimize a new ALD manufacturing process used for detectors in advanced analytical instrumentation.
Primary Responsibilities
Ownership and scale-up of new ALD processes from R&D to manufacturing
Develop SPC and DoE methods to achieve successful tech transfer of ALD processes
Work independently on equipment and apply problem solving skills to find solutions
Utilize analytical instrumentation (SEM, XPS, etc.) for testing of ALD processes
Work closely with the R&D group and other stakeholders to ensure a successful scale-up
Candidate Qualifications
Minimum of a BSc in Material Science, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent
3+ years of experience using ALD techniques in an industry setting
Successful track record with tech transfer / process scale-up within a relevant area (i.e. semiconductors)
Experience with Microchannel Plate (MCP) technology is a PLUS
