Assist with network infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting while also providing C- Level support and managing AV equipment for meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities
Network Support: • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. • Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues. • Monitor network performance and availability, responding to network incidents and alerts in a timely manner. • Help with maintaining and managing LAN/WAN environments and network security protocols. • Assist in implementing network changes, upgrades, and patches under the guidance of senior network engineers.
Desktop Support: • Provide tier 1 and 2 desktop support for end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. • Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems (Windows, macOS) and applications. • Perform PC/laptop setup, user account management, and peripheral device support (printers, scanners, etc.). • Maintain accurate records of issues, changes, and resolutions through ticketing systems. • Provide training and assistance to users for common desktop issues and software usage.
AV Systems Support: • Set up, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment for meetings, presentations, and events, ensuring smooth operation. • Provide technical support for AV systems, including projectors, video conferencing, speakers, microphones, and digital displays. • Troubleshoot and resolve AV connectivity and performance issues during live events and meetings. • Maintain an inventory of AV equipment, ensuring all systems are in working condition and properly stored.
Key Qualifications: • 1-2 years of experience in IT, with a focus on networking, desktop support, or AV technology. • Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and networking equipment (routers, switches). • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and desktop troubleshooting. • Experience setting up and troubleshooting AV equipment, including video conferencing systems. • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications: • CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, or similar certifications. • Experience with network monitoring tools and systems. • Knowledge of basic networking concepts such as VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
