Title: Data Engineer (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)Location: Cleveland, OH/ Strongsville, OH/ Pittsburgh, PA/ Birmingham, AL/ Dallas, TX Duration: 12 Months (possibilities of extension or conversion)Contract Type: W2 ContractJob Description:
- Responsible for building a Redis cache with data features for machine learning model execution
- Data ingestion and data movement using Kafka Python and Java frameworks
Must Have Technical Skills:
- General knowledge of data applications, including data movement, database design, data controls, reconciliation, and logging.
- Working knowledge of Java, python, spark, and data movement technologies.
- Experience designing data cache for ML model execution; Redis preferred
- Experience with event-based data; Kafka preferred.
- Experience creating, troubleshooting, and tuning SQL queries for relational databases; oracle preferred.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 8+ years' experience
