Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field OR equivalent experience demonstrating expertise in cloud security, cloud-based security broker (CSB) technologies, and project management.
In-depth knowledge of Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA, etc.), cloud security architecture, and Zero Trust principles.
3+ years of experience in project management, technical implementation, or consulting roles with a demonstrated focus on Zscaler and cloud-based security solutions.
Experience working with secure software development practices, SecDevOps principles, and government compliance requirements.
Ability to analyze, evaluate, and provide recommendations on network and security architectures in the context of Zscaler deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Zscaler Project: Plan, execute, and oversee the deployment of Zscaler within a government environment, facilitating the transition from on-premises to a hybrid cloud security model.
Establish and Track Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor performance metrics for target pilot locations to ensure successful implementation and operation.
Collaborate with Technical and Development Teams: Work closely with technical and development teams to establish and configure a fully functional Zscaler tenant, ensuring all security and operational requirements are met.
Oversee Deployment: Manage the deployment of PSEs to regional locations and Zscaler App connector servers to DMZ and regional sites as needed, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
Design and Execute Performance Tests: Plan and conduct performance tests at pilot locations to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Zscaler deployment.
Prepare Detailed Reports: Compile comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for expanding Zscaler adoption, providing insights and guidance for future deployments.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Relevant Zscaler or cloud security certifications, such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or similar credentials, to demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in Zscaler technologies and cloud security.
