Job Title: Oracle Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite in a week)
Duration: 06 Months (Contract to Hire)
Pay rate: 75/hr on w2
Job Description:
Join our Database Engineering team to optimize database technologies across our organization. We're looking for a talented engineer to manage Oracle databases and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases.
Evaluate new database features for performance and security.
Document and present techniques for database administration and support.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of DBMS concepts (ACID, CAP).
Experience with enterprise-scale Oracle deployments and high availability.
Familiarity with Unix command line and scripting.
Desirable Attributes:
Background as a database or Unix system administrator.
Knowledge of virtualization/cloud technologies (VMWare, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.).
Understanding of modern storage and compute solutions.
