Endolytix Technology Inc. is a well-funded startup biopharmaceutical company developing novel biological antibacterial therapeutics for a critical unmet need to transform the lives of patients with the most difficult infections to treat due to antibiotic resistance, drug toxicities, access, and reemergence post-therapy. We are in the Preclinical stage of development and taking on more outside relationships with CROs and CDMOs en route to develop the package for IND-submission. We are growing company that was started over 4.5 years ago in a beautiful new facility, custom-built for our work.
As a Program Manager for R&D of a biological therapeutic you will work in a small startup reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer and help to manage R&D efforts internally and externally.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage scientific exchanges between internal teams and outside CROs and CDMOs with a focus on biologicals development • Collaborate upon strategies, with the CSO, to most effectively manage research and development teams internally and externally • Ensuring adherence to guidelines necessary to prepare for IND-submission • Assist CSO to ensure deadlines are met and proper documentation is performed • Participating in a positive culture for the company • Updating database with current R and D information • Generating summary reports for projects upon request
Skills and Qualifications • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Strong leadership and managerial skills • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail • In-depth knowledge of preclinical development en route to submission of IND • Excellent analytical skills • Strong work ethic • Excellent problem-solving attitude and abilities • At least 5 years' experience in pharma working at least partly in preclinical programs • BS or BA in Biological Sciences or related fields • Prior Program management experience • Worked in a startup environment • Adept at working in a collaborative environment with limited hierarchy
