<div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">As the Service Center Print Operator, you'll operate and maintain UV flatbed object printers, laser engravers and cutters. In this role, you'll use your strong understanding digital printing and laser engraving technologies to handle multiple machines efficiently. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality output, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting and optimizing production processes. You'll work closely with the production team, designers and project managers to meet client requirements and deadlines<br><br>This role takes place at Geek Squad city, our 240,000-square-foot repair center in Brooks, Kentucky.<br><br><strong>What you'll do</strong></span></span></div><ul><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Set up, operate and maintain UV flatbed printers to produce high-quality prints on various substrates, including wood, metal, plastic, glass and more</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Prepare digital files for printing and engraving, adjust settings for optimal print quality, and ensure proper alignment and material placement</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Inspect printed and engraved materials for accuracy, color consistency and overall quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure outputs meet company standards</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and calibration of equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Load and unload materials, manage inventory of substrates and supplies and ensure the proper handling of materials before, during and after production.</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Keep accurate records of production runs, maintenance schedules and machine performance</span></span></div></li></ul><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>Basic qualifications</strong></span></span></div><ul><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">2 years of experience operating UV flatbed printers, laser engravers or laser cutters</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">6 months of experience troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues with print and laser equipment</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Proficiency in working with design software (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, CAD) to prepare files for printing and engraving</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Strong understanding of digital printing and laser cutting technologies</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Able to lift and maneuver weight up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Able to stand and sit for long periods of time</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Able to multitask and demonstrate strong attention to detail</span></span></div></li></ul><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></span></span></div><ul><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Prior experience with UV curing technologies</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Knowledge of engraving and cutting techniques for diverse materials such as wood, acrylic, metal and fabric</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Knowledge of color management, print resolution and substrate compatibility</span></span></div></li><li><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Experience with maintenance and repair of printing and laser equipment</span></span></div></li></ul><div><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>What's in it for you</strong><br><br>We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
