We are seeking a highly experienced Product Integration Lead with a deep understanding of optical products and the processes involved in bringing them to market. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in optical product development, testing, and production, with a proven ability to collaborate across multiple technical domains. This role is critical to ensuring that our optical products meet rigorous performance and quality standards, while addressing both production requirements and market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Integration:
Lead the integration of optical products from concept through production, ensuring all components are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
Define production requirements for optical components, including lasers, photonic integrated circuits (PICs), and control systems.
Oversee the packaging and qualification processes to ensure products meet necessary optical specifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams including laser, PIC, control, and packaging experts to identify product requirement gaps.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of optical components.
Facilitate deep-dive technical reviews with cross-functional teams to assess key materials and integration strategies.
Product Requirements Management:
Scope out product features by distinguishing critical "must-have" features from "nice-to-have" enhancements.
Translate market needs into detailed technical requirements for optical products, guiding the development process to meet customer and industry demands.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Oversee the testing of optical components, ensuring compliance with performance, reliability, and quality standards.
Develop and maintain documentation related to production testing protocols, performance benchmarks, and qualification processes.
Leadership and Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert in optical product integration, providing guidance and mentorship to engineering and production teams.
Stay updated on the latest developments in optical technologies, packaging, and product qualification standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: 20+ years in optical product integration, with a strong track record of bringing products to market.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of optical component testing, production requirements, packaging, and qualification.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work across multiple technical domains and lead technical reviews.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to identify gaps in product requirements and find solutions that align with both technical capabilities and market needs.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and manage complex projects across various departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
