A top retailer seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Content Designer to join the team on a full-time basis! MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS.
What You'll Do
Craft the strategic vision for your discipline, then delivering a solution with cogent, on-brand product copy
Solve complex problems with curiosity and openness
Lead by doing, inspiring, coaching and contributing to the design org's culture
Collaborate seamlessly and flexibly with cross-functional partners to drive best-in-class thinking from all parts of the organization
Proactively solicit, leverage, and share design research, competitive analysis, relevant metrics/KPIs to deliver strategic, engaging, impactful communications
Think holistically through the entire ecosystem of end users and competitors
We're looking for someone who has:
A demonstrated track record working cross-functionally, shipping successful product copy in a fast-paced environment
Experience facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders through the use of sound rationale - finding opportunities to bring out the best in people and flex to the needs of the program by refining the messaging
A deep appreciation for systems thinking and a keen understanding of information architecture, both from a design and content lens
A positive mindset with a penchant for puzzles. You're nimble and understand innately what 'less is more' means to the user
The ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business
Qualifications:
Willing to relocate to Bentonville, AR and work onsite 5 days/week.
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Design, or similar
8+ years of experience in UX content strategy/design (not product marketing)
A portfolio with UX case studies showcasing your craft, impact and collaborative process
Experience participating in peer reviews and working within a crit culture
