Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000 + Discretionary Bonus of up to 35%
Vaco is conducting a search on behalf of a growing organization in the Greater Irvine area, looking for a hands-on leader with ERP and IT management experience to oversee their technology resources. Full client details will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
Position Overview:
The IT & ERP Systems Director will be responsible for overseeing the company's ERP system and managing the small IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth technology operations, system improvements, and alignment with business needs, particularly in finance and other critical departments. The ideal candidate will be someone with a blend of project management experience and technical expertise. Experience with SOX compliance is highly valued as the manager will ensure that IT systems and processes meet regulatory standards for financial reporting and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the company's ERP system and lead system implementations and upgrades.
Collaborate closely with finance and other departments to ensure the ERP system and IT resources meet business needs.
Manage relationships with vendors and external service providers, ensuring high-quality service and support.
Handle IT project management tasks, ensuring the timely and budget-conscious execution of technology initiatives.
Lead and mentor the small IT team, providing strategic direction and hands-on support when needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SOX) and internal policies.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of experience in IT and ERP system management, with proven leadership in smaller organizations.
Hands-on experience with ERP system implementations and upgrades.
SOX compliance experience
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a small IT team and oversee multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership.
Experience in regulatory compliance and vendor management is a plus.
