Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead the management and delivery of our Windows/Citrix environment, ensuring seamless end-user experiences. As a technical expert, you'll drive standardization, process simplification, and innovation while providing escalation support.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers in daily support and continuous improvement of the end-user experience
Manage large-scale Citrix environments (VDI) focusing on reliability and performance
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Citrix servers
Implement virtual desktop solutions using Citrix products (XenApp, XenDesktop)
Develop and execute technology roadmaps for measurable improvements
Ensure license compliance and user community satisfaction
Requirements:
10+ years of Systems Engineering experience (Citrix-focused)
Expertise in VDI (XenApp, XenDesktop), Mobility, Citrix, and Cloud-based productivity applications (Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
Proven experience in:
Technology roadmap development and execution
End-point operational analytics and user experience monitoring
Process standardization and simplification
Nice to Have:
Experience with Windows Systems Management and Patch management Technologies (SCCM, Group Policy, WSUS)
Scripting skills for automation
