We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with 7+ years of experience in technical project management, particularly in the medical device sector. Experience in startups is preferred due to their fast-paced nature. The role requires expertise in Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the firmware development team, managing project scope, goals, and schedules. Ensure quality documentation and track progress while proactively identifying risks.
Team Leadership: Motivate and support project teams, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders and resolving conflicts.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance, review deliverables, and stay updated on industry trends.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide regular updates to manage expectations.
Documentation and Process Improvement: Maintain accurate project records and implement process enhancements for efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
7+ years in technical project management within medical device development.
Proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Excellent organizational skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with medical device regulations and quality standards.
Proficiency in project management tools.
Certifications: PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
Additional Information:
Contract: 12-month term, likely to extend or convert for the right candidate.
Hourly Pay Range: $60-70/hr.
Travel: 10% (primarily to Golden, CO, and Redwood City).
