We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our US Data Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data management, and team leadership, with specific experience in managing projects involving Snowflake and AWS. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide clear direction and support to team members.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members. Manage expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Data Management: Oversee data management processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage data migration and integration projects involving Snowflake and AWS.
Cloud Platform Management: Utilize Snowflake and AWS to manage and optimize data storage, processing, and analytics. Ensure the efficient use of cloud resources and adherence to best practices.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present project status reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with data management projects involving Snowflake and AWS is required.
