Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in managing and optimizing server environments across Cisco, HP, and Dell platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and architecture, beyond basic administration, to design and implement advanced infrastructure solutions. This role requires experience in automation, scripting, virtualization, and a solid understanding of networking concepts

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize data center server environments, including physical servers from Cisco, Dell, and HP.
  • Utilize specific tools for server management, such as Cisco Intersight, Dell OpenManage Enterprise, and HP OneView.
  • Perform component testing, firmware updates, and analyze their impact on infrastructure performance.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to streamline infrastructure processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
  • Assist with automation tasks, modify playbooks, and ensure seamless deployment through Zero-Touch Deployment tools (e.g., Canonical MAAS).
  • Write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and optimize system management.
  • Develop infrastructure designs that meet enterprise-level needs for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Configure and manage network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches, ensuring the infrastructure adheres to best security practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Intersight, Dell OpenManage Enterprise, and HP OneView.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure design and architecture, particularly with Cisco UCS and cloud environments.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and network device configuration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience in securing systems.
