Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA. Hybrid x2 Days Onsite

Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire

Description: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Customer team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration, with a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, configuration, and customization. The candidate should also have experience in implementing Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, as well as working with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Pro (Apex, trigger, batch jobs) and Low code (Flows, validation rules, configuration) tools.
  • Perform peer code reviews to uphold code consistency, modularity, and quality standards, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering a collaborative development environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Salesforce Technical Architect to delineate the Technical Roadmap, establish coding standards, implement best practices, and optimize development and release processes.
  • Participate in governance and architectural reviews to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, scalability, security, and compliance requirements, providing insights and recommendations for effective Salesforce platform integrity.
  • Build robust partnerships with Salesforce Support and vendors, ensuring accountability and efficient issue resolution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (Business or Internal IT) to understand business and IT non-functional requirements and provide Salesforce Platform solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct analysis, planning, and support for Salesforce releases on a triannual basis.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce features and functionality as well as directional trends and emerging technologies in this space, and provide recommendations for improving the platform.
  • Follow agile program/project management policies, standards, and procedures (SDLC) to ensure consistent and transparent execution across product areas in collaboration with scrum masters.
  • Ensure design and implementation of technologies that comply with security standards and application architecture principles (in alignment with platform architects and respective review boards) and analytics concepts.
  • Able to bring forward opportunities for improvements by actively engaging in benchmarking with other solutions or best practices.
  • Alignment and Collaboration with our Integration, Data, Security, and Analytics team for technology synergies and application use.
  • Provide technical and/or development expertise and advise to the System community in the Salesforce practice.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Practical expertise in Salesforce development, encompassing Apex classes, Triggers, Batch able jobs, and Queueable Jobs, advanced and performance SOQL writing.
  • Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, Aura Components, JavaScript, and responsive web design, demonstrated through practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring Salesforce using declarative tools such as Flows (and its predecessor like Process Builder), Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Page Layouts, and Lightning Pages.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce Security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Object Level/Record Level sharing, and Sharing rules.
  • Skilled in conducting Code review, identifying code smells, anti-patterns, and technical debt within codebases, with a commitment to advocating and implementing best coding practices to ensure maintainability, scalability, and efficiency of solution.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and reverse analyze code (Debug Logs). Ability to analyze and interpret complex error messages, logs, and stack traces to identify root causes of issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with Salesforce Field Service (SFS), encompassing a deep understanding of its core features, functionalities, and capabilities. Familiarity with SFS Mobile app and its customization would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in utilizing specialized tools such as Scale Center for diagnosing and optimizing Salesforce performance, expertise in analyzing Org health reports to identify areas for improvement, and adeptness in conducting technical assessments to pinpoint and address inefficiencies in slow-running Apex classes.
  • Advanced analytical abilities, adept at debugging and troubleshooting, capable of conducting root cause analysis on issues to identify viable options for mitigating future occurrences.
  • Salesforce experience with Sales, Service Clouds, preferably some knowledge in the Field Service Lightning space as well as B2B Lightning for Ecommerce.
  • Salesforce Developer (Platform I and II) and/or Salesforce Administrator (Basic and Advanced) certifications are a plus.
  • Experience Integrating with other platforms like (SAP, ERP) and knowledge of REST/SOAP, BULK APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with data management, including data imports/exports, data quality, and data security.
  • Strong knowledge of SOQL queries, including complex queries with multiple object relationships and aggregation functions.
  • Good knowledge of landscape administration (sandbox administration) and code deployment tools (ANT, CI/CD i.e. "Copado") and use of code repositories (git).
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
