Our client, a mission driven growing affordable housing developer, is seeking a LIHTC Senior Project Manager. MUST BE IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
Education:
Masters, MRED or Bachelor's degree in community development, business, economics, urban planning, or a related field.
Experience:
-3+ relevant experience in urban planning, housing development, real estate development, business, finance or a related field preferred.
-2+ years supervising programs, budgets, activities and staff.
This person will oversee Affordable Housing projects utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) 4% / 9% tax exempt and taxable bonds, private bank loans, rental/operating subsidies, and other federal and state subsidies. Knowledge of regulations, principles, practices, methods, and procedure of LIHTC, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and other affordable housing funding programs.
