Seeking experienced Survey CAD Technicians to join our team! The ideal candidates will perform professional-level technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems.
Prepare design drawings and specifications for survey and mapping projects.
Create computerized drawing files and plots, including line types, arcs, curves, and text.
Compile automated drawings from field notes, sketches, or other automated outputs.
Accurately replicate dimensions, angles, and other precise measurements and specifications.
Automate design specifications, drawings, and diagrams related to plans, field surveying, construction inspection, field data collection, and engineering computations.
Use computer plotters and symbol sets in the drafting process.
Perform surveys for residential construction/mortgage, ALTA, as-built, boundary, bathymetric/hydrographic, construction, development, environmental, residential/commercial, and topographic surveys.
Apply knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and computer software in performing basic engineering and survey computations.
Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks.
Understand legal descriptions terminology.
Experience Required:
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
1-2 years of computerized design and drafting experience, or relevant education or training.
