As an Inventory Analyst, you will be a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and enhancing overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Demand Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts to optimize inventory planning and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
Cycle Counting: Implement and oversee cycle counting programs to maintain inventory accuracy throughout the year.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to address inventory issues, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement effective solutions.
Reporting: Prepare detailed inventory reports and provide insights to management.
System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and optimization of inventory management systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
