Job Description:
Position: Biomedical Cybersecurity Project Coordinator
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: November 2024
Location: On-site/Hybrid
Description:
- Track, and report on the status of department security projects, and equipment remediation efforts
- Assist in Security Risk Assessment analysis and track control implementation progress
- Assist in developing staff daily assignments and communicate with site clinical departments for scheduling purposes
- Assist in Change Management efforts (ITIL), training, and supporting documentation
- Assist in the development of staff workflow structure
Qualifications:
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills (including Excel) required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts
- Technically minded and can operate/communicate in a highly technical environment
- Knowledge of medical device functionality, networking, and/or cybersecurity principles highly desired
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, medical device protocols, and regulatory requirements preferred
- Associate or bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare data security regulations a plus
- Certifications like Project+, Agile SCRUM, ITIL, (A+, NET+, CC or Security+ are a plus), etc. preferred
