Water Resources Intern at Solano County Water Agency in Vacaville, California

Job Description:

CLOSING: October 25, 2024 or until position filled
This is a temporary position providing a range of scientific and/or engineering support in the field of water resources. The position will provide direct support to the Engineering team. The position will not exceed 40 hours/week or 1,000 hours in a year. Job duties include:

Conducting site visits.
The use of various equipment and/or instruments for field data collection.
Tabulating data by use of excel and/or other database systems.
Assisting with land surveying/mapping of water resource features including creeks, canals and other topographic features.
Assisting staff with a variety of field and administrative activities.
Digitizing historic water operations, photographs, and other important documents.
Assisting with the preparation of engineering documents including designs, specifications, and estimates.
Other engineering related duties as assigned.
